स्थानीय जनगणना कार्यालयले राउटेको गणना अन्तिम समयमा गर्ने तयारी थालेको छ । जङ्गलमा फिरन्ते जीवन बिताउने यस समुदायको गणना छुट्न वा दोहोरिन नदिन अभियानको अन्तिम समयमा गर्ने तयारी भएको हो ।

राउटेहरु हाल सल्यानको पश्चिमी क्षेत्र वनगाड कुपिन्डे नगरपालिका वडा नं १ को घाटगाउँमा बस्दछन् । सुर्खेत प्रदेश जनगणना कार्यालयले राउटेहरु छिटो–छिटो बसाइँ सर्ने हुँदा छुट्ने वा दोहोरिन सक्ने भएकाले जनगणनाको अन्तिम समयमा गर्ने गरी स्थानीय जनगणना कार्यालयहरुसँग समन्वय भइरहेको जनाएको छ । अति लापोन्मुख यो समुदायमा हाल १४० जना छन् । जनगणनाका लागि सुर्खेतस्थित प्रदेश जनगणना कार्यालयले दैलेखको गुराँस गाउँपालिका र सल्यान जिल्ला जनगणना कार्यालयसँग समन्वय गरिरहेको छ ।

बाह्रौँँ राष्ट्रिय जनगणनाअन्तर्गत यही भदौ ३० गतेदेखि घरधुरी तथा घरपरिवार सूचीकरण कार्य जारी छ । यो कार्य असोज १८ गतेसम्म हुनेछ । घरधुरी, घरपरिवार तथा कृषिसम्बन्धी विवरण सूचीकरण गर्ने चार दिनमात्र बाँकी रहँदा सुपरीवेक्षकहरु राउटे बस्ती पुगेका छैनन् । वनगाड कुपिन्डे नगरपालिका–१ की सुपरीवेक्षक राजकुमारी खत्रीले राउटे समुदायको घरपरिवार तथा घरधुरी सूचीकरण कार्य अन्तिममा गर्ने तयारी भइरहेको बताउनुभयो । “राउटे समुदायसहित पाँचवटा क्लष्टर बनाएर घरधुरी तथा घरपरिवार सूचीकरण गरिरहेको छु”, उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “अन्य बस्तीको सूचीकरण अब अन्तिम चरणमा पुगेको छ, त्यसलगत्तै राउटे बस्तीमा पुग्नेछु ।”

सुपरीवेक्षक खत्रीले राउटे समुदायको घरपरिवार तथा घरधुरी सूचीकरणका लागि सो समुदायसँग नजिकका व्यक्तिबाट सहयोग लिन पर्ने भएकाले त्यसका लागि दैलेखको गुराँस गाउँपालिकाले दुई सहजकर्ता परिचालन गरेको छ । राउटेहरु आफूले विश्वास गरेको एवं परिचित व्यक्तिसँग मात्र आपसमा कुराकानी गर्ने गर्दछन् । यो समुदाय अझै आफ्नो वास्तविक विवरण बताउन तयार छैनन्

राउटेहरु ‘आफ्नो सङ्ख्या गन्नु हुँदैन, टाउको गन्नुहुन्न, पाप लाग्छ’ भन्ने मान्यतामा विश्वास गर्छन् । यही मान्यताका कारण यसअघिका जनगणनामा राउटेको यकिन विवरण आउन नसकेको हो । विसं २०५८ र २०६८ को जनगणनामा राउटेको सङ्ख्या यथार्थभन्दा बढी देखाइएको राउटे अभियानकर्मीको आरोप छ । यी गणनामा राउटेको सङ्ख्या ५०० भन्दा बढी भएको उल्लेख थियो ।

जिल्ला तथ्याङ्क कार्यालयका सहायक जनगणना अधिकारी कुमारी सीता तिमिल्सेनाले यसपटकको गणनामा राउटे समुदायको वास्तविक विवरण सङ्कलन हुने बताउनुभयो । “फिरन्ते राउटे, पुख्र्यौली थातथलोदेखि अलग बस्दै आएका बादी, गन्धर्वलगायत जातिको पनि यकिन विवरण सङ्कलन गरिँदैछ”, उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “कसैको छुट्ने र कसैको दोहोरिने समस्या हुन नदिन सचेत छौँ ।” ‘मेरो गणना–मेरो सहभागिता’ भन्ने नाराका साथ यही कात्तिक २५ देखि मङ्सिर ९ गतेसम्म मुख्य जनगणना कार्य सम्पन्न हुनेछ ।
