शेरबहादुर बिष्ट/टीकापुर ८ फागुन
वीरेन्द्र माबि टीकापुरको ४८औ बार्षिकोत्सब तथा अभिभावक दिवस सोमबार सम्पन्न भएको छ ।
बार्षिकोत्सवमा कार्यक्रमका प्रमुख अतिथिको आसनबाट बोल्दै स्थानिय सरकार, प्रदेश सरकार र केन्द्रिय सरकारबाट विद्यालयलाई पूर्ण सहयोग हुने अवस्था देखिने भएकोले विद्यालयले समयसापेक्षा गुरुयोजना बनाई विद्यालयको विकास गर्न अघि बढ्नुपर्ने बताउनुभयो ।
उहाँले विद्यालय विकासको लागि २०४२÷०४३ सालमा ५ वटा गाउँबाट चन्दा र सहयोग संकलन गरेर विद्यालयलाई सहयोग गरेको बताउनुभयो ।
कार्यक्रमका विशिष्ट अतिथि सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेश सभा सदस्य ललिता सुनारले बिरेन्द्र माबिलाई शैक्षिक गुठीबाट संस्थागत बिद्यालयमा परिवर्तन गर्ने पहल भैरहेको बताउँदै यसको लागि निरन्तर प्रयासरत रहिरहने बताउनुभयो ।
सुनारले बालबालिकालाई नैतिक शिक्षामा जोड दिनुपने बताउनुभयो ।
अर्का विशिष्ट अतिथि प्रदेश सभा सदस्य लक्ष्मण किशोर चौधरीले विद्यालयका भौतिक संरचना जिर्ण भएकाले नयाँ संरचना बनाउन आवश्यक भएको बताउँदै त्यसको लागि आफुले सक्दो सहयोग गर्ने बताउनुभयो ।
उहाँले टीकापुरको शैक्षिक क्षेत्रको अस्तित्व वीरेन्द्र बिद्या मन्दिर संग जोडिएको बताउँदै यसले खेल क्षेत्रलाई पनि अगाडी बढाउनमा महत्पूर्ण भूमिका रहेको बताउनभयो ।
सांसद चौधरीले भने–‘वीरेन्द्र स्कुलमा पढ्दै गर्दा खेल क्षेत्रमा मैले पहिलो पटक सुदूरपश्चिम बाट स्वर्ण पदक प्राप्त गरेको थिएँ । वीरेन्द्र स्कुलमै अध्ययन गरेर मैले आज जनप्रतिनिधीका स्थानमा उभिएको छु विद्यालयले मलाई बनायो अब मैले विद्यालयलाई बनाउ बनाउँछु भने ।’
सुदूरपश्चिम विकास परिषद सदस्य गणेश ओझाले विद्यालयमा अध्यायपन गराउँदै आएका शिक्षक शिक्षिकहरुको समस्याको समाधान गर्नुपर्ने बताउनुभयो ।
समाजसेवी नेप बहादुर चौधरीले विद्यालयको भौतिक संरचना धेरै बर्ष पुरानो भइसकेको हुँदा जिर्ण हुने अवस्था समेत देखिएकोले निर्माणको लागि सबैले पहल गर्नुपर्ने बताउनुभयो ।
समाजसेवी कमला केसीले सुदूरपश्चिमका ५ ओटा जिल्लाका अभिभावकले वीरेन्द्र विद्या मन्दिरमा आफ्ना छोराछोरी पढाउन बस्ती सरेको समेत बताउनुभयो ।
टीकापुर बहुमुखी क्याम्पसका प्रमुख केशर बहादुर कुँवरले विगतमा टीकापुर नगरपालिकाले वीरेन्द्र विद्यालयलाई शुल्क नउठाउन निर्देशन दिंदा ६७ लाख रुपैयाँ क्षति भएको सुनुवाईमा आएको बताउँदै यसको जिम्मा सम्बन्धित निकायले लिनुपर्ने बताउनुभयो ।
वीरेन्द्र विद्या मन्दिर बहुमुखी क्याम्पसका प्रमुख हर्क बहादुर भण्डारीले टीकापुरको सबै भन्दा पुरानो शैक्षिक क्षेत्रको थलो भएको बताउँदै विद्यालयको शैक्षिक विकासको लागि सबैले सहयोग गर्नुपर्ने बताउनुभयो ।
कार्यक्रममा समाजवादी पार्टीका विरेन्द्र साउँद, विद्यालय व्यवस्थापन समितिका प्रकाश खड्का, स्ववियु सभापति धनञ्जय रिमाल, सार्वजनिक शैक्षिक गुठिका सदस्य सचिव पृथ्वी वम, विद्यालयका शिक्षक प्रतिनिधी प्रेम चौधरी, कक्षा १२ का विद्यार्थी लक्षमी रेग्मी, कक्षा ९ का विद्यार्थी हेमन्त बहादुर साउँद लगायतले मन्तव्य ब्यक्त गरेका थिए ।
विद्यालयका पूर्व प्रचार्य यज्ञराज ज्ञवालीले टीकापुर नगर विकास समितिले खर्च गर्ने गरि स्थापना भएको वीरेन्द्र स्कुल नगर विकास समितिको विघटन भइ नगर विकासको जिम्मा नगरपालिकालाई हस्तान्तरण गरेपछि विद्यालयमा नगरपालिकाले आफ्नो दायित्व निर्वाह गर्नुपर्ने बताउनुभयो ।
कार्यक्रममा सेवानिवृत्त शिक्षक तथा कर्मचारी र यस बर्षको उत्कृष्ट खेलाडीहरुलाई प्रमाण पत्र सहित सम्मान गरिएको थियो ।
कार्यक्रममा विद्यालयका पूर्व शिक्षक धनञ्जय तिमिल्सेना द्धारा लिखित ‘काव्य संग्रह’ पुस्तक विद्यालयलाई हस्तान्तरण गर्नुभएको थियो ।
विद्यालय व्यवस्थापन समितिका अध्यक्ष नवराज रावलको अध्यक्षतामा भएको कार्यक्रमको संचालन शिक्षक पदमराज ओझा र लक्ष्मी लम्सालले गर्नुभएको थियो ।
