जाजरकोटमा देखिए दादुराका बिरामी

नेपालले सन् २०१९ भित्र उन्मूलन गर्ने लक्ष्य लिए पनि २०२१ मा आएर यहाँ दादुराका बिरामी फेला परेका छन् । भेरी नगरपालिका–१ रावतगाउँमा गत साउन ८ गते मिल्दोजुल्दो लक्षण भएका बिरामी देखिएपछि जाँच गर्दा दादुराका बिरामी फेला परेका थिए । विश्व स्वास्थ्य सङ्गठन (डब्लुएचओ)को सहयोगमा भेरी–१ रावतगाउँमा १८ बालबालिकाको नमूना सङ्कलन गरी जाँच गर्दा थप दुईमा दादुरा सङ्क्रमण पुष्टि भएपछि अवस्था गम्भीर देखिएको भेरी नगरपालिकाको स्वास्थ्य शाखाका दीपक ओलीले बताउनुभयो ।

शुक्रबार मात्र प्रदेश स्वास्थ्य निर्देशनालय सुर्खेत, स्वास्थ्य सेवा कार्यालय जाजरकोट र भेरी नगरपालिका स्वास्थ्य शाखाबाट संयुक्तरूपमा स्थलगत अनुगमन गरिएको छ । स्वास्थ्य सेवा कार्यालयले वर्षेनी ददुराविरुद्धको खोप लगाउने गरे पनि त्यो अभियान पूरै असफल भएको स्थानीयवासी बताउँछन् । अन्यत्र पनि जाँच नहुँदा थाहा हुन नसके पनि ददुरा सुरुवा रोग भएकाले यसलाई समयमै उच्च सावधानी अपनाउन नसके अवस्था जटिल भएर जाने ओलीले जानकारी दिनुभयो ।

चार जिल्लामा दादुराका बिरामी

सन् २०२० मा दादुराका बिरामी ललितपुर, सर्लाही, झापा र धादिङ जिल्लामा पाइएका थिए । यो साढे तीन महिनाको समयमा १२५ दादुराका बिरामी फेला परेको स्वास्थ्य मन्त्रालयको तथ्याङ्कमा उल्लेख छ । सन् २०१९ मा देशभर दादुराका बिरामीको सङ्ख्या ४३० थियो । खोप रोकिएका कारण आगामी दिनमा बालबालिकामा दादुरालगायत क्षयरोग र पोलियोजस्ता रोग बढ्न सक्ने चिकित्सकले चेतावनी दिँदै आएका छन् । अत्यावश्यक सेवा रोक्न त मिल्दैन, तर मानिसहरु बालबालिका लिएर खोप लगाउन आउन नपाउने र यातायातका साधन पनि नचलेपछि खोप सेवा बन्द भएकाले समस्या हुँदै आएको चिकित्सकको तर्क छ ।

कस्तो खतरा छ ?

सरुवा रोगमध्ये पनि निकै चाँडो फैलन सक्ने क्षमता भएको हुँदा दादुरा नियन्त्रणलाई गम्भीरतापूर्वक लिनुपर्ने विज्ञहरू बताउँछन् । दादुराले विशेषगरी पाँच वर्षभन्दा मुनिका बालबालिका र गर्भवतीलाई ग्रस्त बनाउने चिकित्सकको भनाइ छ । दादुरा आउँदा छालामा रातो फोका देखिने र ज्वरो आउने हुन्छ । दादुराले कहिलेकाहीँ फोक्सो र मस्तिष्कमा सङ्क्रमण भएर जटिलता उत्पन्न गराइदिन सक्छ । केन्द्रीय तथ्याङ्क विभागले सन् २०११ मा गरेको जनगणनाअनुसार नेपालमा चार वर्षसम्मका बालबालिकाको सङ्ख्या रु २५ लाख ६७ हजार थियो । सो कूल जनसङ्ख्याको करिब १० प्रतिशत हो ।

उपचारको व्यवस्था कस्तो छ ?

विकसित मुलुकमा सन् १९६३ बाट प्रयोगमा आएको दादुराको खोप नेपालमा भने सन् १९७९ मा मात्र आएको थियो । सुरुका दिनमा उक्त खोप निकै महङ्गो मानिने भए पनि अहिले ठूलो परिमाणमा उत्पादन हुने हुँदा मूल्य क्रमिकरूपमा घट्दै गएको जानकारहरू बताउँछन् । एक जनालाई एकपटक लगाइने दादुराको खोपको मूल्य एक अमेरिकी डलर जति पर्छ । त्यसमाथि विश्व स्वास्थ्य सङ्गठन र युनिसेफजस्ता संस्थाले त्यस्ता खोपको खरिदमा सहयोग गर्ने हुँदा खर्च कम हुँदै आएको छ । रुघाखोकी, ज्वरो र दाग गराउने यो रोगबाट एमएमआर खोप दुईपटक दिएर जोगिन सकिन्छ । विश्व स्वास्थ्य सङ्गठनका अनुसार यहाँ पाँच वर्ष उमेरका ९५ प्रतिशतले पहिलो खेपको खोप लगाएका छन् भने ८७.४ प्रतिशतले दोस्रो खेप लिएका छन् ।

सन् २०१९ मा दादुरा रोगीको सङ्ख्यामा भारी वृद्वि हुँदै पछिल्लो २३ वर्षयताकै अत्यधिक रहेको युनिसेफले आफ्नो बुलेटिनमा बताएको छ । विश्व स्वास्थ्य सङ्गठन र संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिकाको रोग नियन्त्रण तथा रोकथाम केन्द्र (सिडिसी)द्वारा संयुक्तरूपमा प्रकाशित विवरणअनुसार सन् २०१९ मा आठ लाख ६९ हजार ७७० दादुराका बिरामी भेटिएको उल्लेख छ । त्यो सङ्ख्या विश्व स्वास्थ्य सङ्गठन कार्यरत सबै क्षेत्रमा गरी सन् १९९६ यता देखिएको सबैभन्दा धेरै हो । सन् २०१६ यता दादुराको कारणले मृत्यु हुनेको सङ्ख्यामा ५० प्रतिशतले वृद्वि भई सन् २०१९ मा मात्रै अनुमानित दुई लाख सात हजार ५०० को मृत्यु भएको उल्लेख छ ।

सन् २०१० देखि २०१६ सम्म विश्वव्यापीरूपमै स्थिर प्रगति देखिएकामा सन् २०१९ सम्म आइपुग्दा दादुराका बिरामीको सङ्ख्यामा वृद्वि भयो । दादुराका कारणले हालसम्मकै थोरै मानिसले ज्यान गुमाएको वर्ष सन् २०१६ को तथ्याङ्कलाई २०१९ को तथ्याङ्कसँग तुलना गर्दा बिरामीको सङ्ख्या र मृत्यु दुवै बढ्नुको प्रमुख कारण दादुरा रोकथामका लागि आवश्यक खोप (एमसिभी–१ र एमसिभी–२) समयमा दिन नसक्नु भएको उल्लेख छ ।

खोप के हो, यसले कसरी काम गर्छ ?

बितेको शताब्दीमा खोपले करोडौँ मानिसको ज्यान जोगाएको छ । कतिपय देशका स्वास्थ्य विज्ञहरू त्यहाँ खोपप्रति हिच्किचाहट प्रवृत्ति बढ्दो रहेको बताउँछन् । यो प्रवृत्तिप्रति विश्व स्वास्थ्य सङ्गठन चिन्तित छ । खोपको खोज हुनुभन्दा पहिले संसार निकै खतरनाक थियो, जहाँ विविध रोगका कारण दशौँ लाखले ज्यान गुमाइरहन्थे ।  (रासस)
