नेपालको संविधान बमोजिम सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेशमा गठन भएको प्रदेश लोकसेवा आयोगले आफ्नो काम प्रारम्भ गरेको छ । आयोगका अध्यक्ष यज्ञराज बोहराले पदपूर्तिको प्रयोजनका लागि मन्त्रालय, कार्यालय र निकायवाट कर्मचारीको रिक्त माग पद पठाइदिन पत्राचार भई कार्य प्रारम्भ भएको जानकारी दिनुभयो । उहाँले भन्नुभयो, ‘‘पदपूर्ति गर्ने प्रयोजनका लागि सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेशका मन्त्रालय, निकाय, कार्यालयबाट रिक्त माग पद पठाइदिन मुख्यमन्त्री तथा मन्त्रिपरिषद्को कार्यालयलाई पत्राचार गरिएको छ ।’’

प्रदेश लोकसेवा आयोग ऐन बमोजिम आयोगको नियमावली, कार्य सञ्चालन निर्देशिका, आयोगका पदाधिकारी, विषय विज्ञ, विशेषज्ञ र कर्मचारीको आचारसंहिता जारी भइसकेको छ । आयोगलाई योग्यता, निष्पक्षता र स्वच्छताका आधारमा प्रदेशमा रहेका मन्त्रालय र मातहतका कार्यालय÷निकायका रिक्त पदमा कर्मचारी पदपूर्तिका लागि परीक्षामार्फत योग्य नागरिक सिफारिस गर्नुपर्ने जिम्मेवारी तोकिएको छ ।

संविधानको धारा २४४ मा प्रत्येक प्रदेशमा प्रदेश लोकसेवा आयोग रहने व्यवस्था गरिएको छ । सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेशमा २०७७ चैत्र महिनामा प्रदेश लोकसेवा आयोगका अध्यक्ष तथा पदाधिकारीको नियुक्ति गरिएपछि प्रदेशको राजधानी धनगढीमा आयोगको कार्यालय सञ्चालनमा आएको थियो । यसैबीच सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेशका प्रमुखको कार्यालयमा आज आयोजित समारोहमा प्रमुख गङ्गाप्रसाद यादव समक्ष आज आयोगका अध्यक्ष बोहराले प्रदेश लोकसेवा आयोग ऐन बमोजिम आयोगको आर्थिक वर्ष २०७७÷७८ को वार्षिक प्रतिवेदन पेश गर्नुभयो ।

प्रस्तुत प्रतिवेदनमा आयोगबाट सम्पादन भएका कामसम्बन्धी विवरण समेटिएको छ । समारोहमा प्रदेशका आन्तरिक मामिला तथा कानूनमन्त्री पूर्णा जोशी, आयोगका पदाधिकारीलगायत उपस्थित हुनुहुन्थ्यो ।
