सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेशका मुख्यमन्त्री त्रिलोचन भट्टले जनताको खाद्य अधिकार सुनिश्चितताका लागि पहल गर्ने बताउनुभएको छ । तीन तहका सरकारसँग समन्वय गर्ने उहाँले उल्लेख गर्नुभयो ।
मानव खाद्य अधिकारका क्षेत्रमा कार्यरत संस्थाको सञ्जालले प्रदेश सरकारलाई बुझाएको ध्यानाकर्षण पत्र बुझ्दै मुख्यमन्त्री भट्टले जनताको खाद्य अधिकारसँग भौतिक पूर्वाधार निर्माणका साथै आर्थिक र सामाजिक विकास जोडिएकाले यी सबै विषयको समाधानका लागि लागिपर्ने बताउनुभयो । सरकारले स्वरोजगार प्रवद्र्धन गरी आर्थिक अवस्थामा सुधार ल्याउन कृषि व्यवसायलाई प्राथमिकता दिन प्रदेश सरकारसँग समन्वय गरी अघि बढ्न खाद्य अधिकारका क्षेत्रमा कार्यरत संस्थालाई उहाँले आग्रह गर्नुभयो ।
मुख्यमन्त्री भट्टलाई बुझाइएको ध्यानाकर्षणपत्रमा सुदूरपश्चिमको वास्तविकता उल्लेख गर्दै अधिकांश प्रदेशवासी मजदुरी गर्न भारत पस्ने गरेको भए पनि पछिल्लो समय कोभिड–१९ का कारण नागरिकको जीवनयापन थप जटिल बन्दै गएको उल्लेख छ । जनताको खाद्य अधिकार सुनिश्चित गर्न प्रदेश खाद्य परिषद् यथाशीघ्र गठन गरी प्रदेशका योजना तर्जुमामा जनताको पहुँच अभिवृद्धि गर्न र किसानका उत्पादन समयमै खरिद गरी आवश्यक मल बीउबिजनको सुनिश्चितता गरिनुपर्ने खाद्य अधिकार सञ्जालका प्रदेश अध्यक्ष बलबहादुर रोकायले बताउनुभयो ।
