नेकपा (एमाले) का अध्यक्ष केपी शर्मा ओलीले पार्टीको दशौँ राष्ट्रिय महाधिवेशनमा अध्यक्ष वा कुनै पनि पदमा अरुलाई नउठ्न आफूले कुनै दबाब नदिने बताउनुभएको छ ।

महाधिवेशनका सन्दर्भमा आज सो पार्टीको केन्द्रीय प्रचार विभागद्वारा सम्पादकसँग आयोजित छलफल कार्यक्रममा अध्यक्ष ओलीले महाधिवेशनले लोकतान्त्रिक अभ्यासबाट सहमति वा निर्वाचनबाट छानिने नेतृत्वलाई आफूले सहजरुपमा स्वीकार्ने बताउनुभयो ।

तपाईंलाई सर्वसम्मत अध्यक्ष हुने स्थितिमा केही चुनौती आएको हो ? भन्ने प्रश्नमा अध्यक्ष ओलीले भन्नुभयो, “एमाले लोकतान्त्रिक पार्टी हो । यसमा कुनै प्रकारको जोरजुलुम छैन । म उठ्ने–नउठ्ने टुङ्गो गरेको छैन । त्यसैले मलाई अध्यक्षमा छोड्न वा चुनौती दिन पाइन्छ । अरुलाई नउठ्न दबाब दिन्न । म अध्यक्ष भएमा पार्टीमा सबैलाई समान व्यवहार गर्छु ।” उहाँले उपाध्यक्ष डा भीम रावलले अध्यक्षमा उठ्छु भनेर आफूलाई चुनौती नदिएको बरु आफूप्रति आदार, सम्मान, स्नेह दिनुभएको उल्लेख गर्दै रावलको स्नेहपूर्ण सुझावबाट आफू प्रभावित भएको बताउनुभयो ।

अध्यक्ष ओलीले दशौँ महाधिवेशनले एमाले फुट्यो, कमजोर भयो भन्ने भ्रमलाई चिर्ने र पार्टीलाई शुद्धीकरण गर्दै एउटै लयमा अगाडि बढाएर मुलुकको समृद्धिका लागि पुनःनेतृत्व गर्न सक्ने शक्ति आर्जन गराउने बताउनुभयो । उहाँले एमाले एकजुट, सुदृढ र व्यापक छ भन्ने सन्देश महाधिवेशनले दिने जानकारी दिनुभयो ।

पार्टीका सचिव योगेश भट्टराईले पाँच लाखको सहभागितामा यही मङ्सिर १० गते चितवनको नारायणी नदी किनारमा निर्मित विशेष मञ्चमा महाधिवेशनको उद्घाटन गरिने र ७२ जना कलाकारको सामूहिक धूनबाट राष्ट्रिय गान बजाइनेलगायतका कार्यक्रम तय भएको जानकारी दिनुभयो । महाधिवेशनको बन्दसत्र चितवनको सौराहामा हुनेछ । महाधिवेशनमा मनोनीतसहित दुई हजार २०० प्रतिनिधि हुनेछन् । उद्घाटन सत्रका लागि पाँच हजार स्वयंसेवक परिचालन गरिने भट्टराईले बताउनुभयो । महाधिवेशनमा विद्युतीय मेसिनबाट मतदान हुनेछ ।
