मंसिरको दोश्रो साता हाम्रो टोली नेपाल भारतका केही महत्वपूर्ण धार्मिक तिर्थस्थलहरुको दर्शन गर्नका लागि भारत प्रस्थान गर्यो । टीकापुरमा रहेको इश्वर प्रेमी सेवा आश्रमको पहलमा पूर्वको उर्लावारी देखि पश्चिमको धनगढी सम्मका करिब ४ सय जना तिर्थ यात्रीहरु लिएर आश्रमका पिठाधिश इश्वर चैतन्यजी महाराजको नेतृत्वमा भ्रमणमा निस्कियको टोलीको पहिलो गन्बव्य थियो उत्तराखण्डको हरिद्धार र ऋषीकेश ।
गंगानदी हिन्दु धर्माबलम्बीहरुका लागि पबित्र र मोक्षदायिनी मानिन्छन । पौराणिक मान्यता अनुसार राजा भगिरथले आफ्ना पुर्खाहरुको मोक्षका खातिर गंगालाई आराधना गरेर स्वर्गबाट पृथ्वीमा ल्याएका थिए । गंगालाई स्वर्गबाट पृथ्वीमा ल्याउदा उनको बेगलाई पृथ्वीले धान्न नसक्ने भएपछि राजा भगिरथले शिवजीको तपस्या गरेर गंगाको बेगलाई थेग्न अनुरोध गरेका थिए ।
शिवजीले आफ्ना भक्त भगिरथको तपस्याबाट खुसी भएर गंगालाई आफ्नो शिरको जटामा धारण गरेर गंगाको बेगलाई धानेर गंगालाई पृथ्वीमा ल्याएको मानिन्छ । गंगाको उद्गम स्थल कैलास मान सरोवर मानिन्छ । कैलास भगवान शिवजीको धाम मानिन्छ ।
यी पौराणिक मान्यताहरुले पनि गंगा स्थानको महत्व हिन्दु सनातन धर्ममा धेरै छ । गंगा पितृहरुका लागि मोक्षदायिनी मानिन्छन । हिमालयबाट उत्तराखण्डहुदै झरेको गंगा नदी ऋषीकेश हुदै हरिद्धार पुग्दा त्यहा स्नान पुजा र आरती गर्ने हजारौं भक्तजनहरु ऋषीकेश र हरिद्धारमा पुग्छन ।
भारत सरकारले गंगाको स्वच्छताका लागि धेरै कडा नियमहरु बनाएको देखिन्छ । गंगा नदीको पानी स्वच्छ र पबित्र छ । त्यहा कुनै फोहोर गर्न पाइदैन । नुहाउदा भित्र लुगाहरु नदीमा निचोर्न पाइदैन, नुहाउदा नदीमा कुल्ला गर्न र थुक्न पाइदैन । गंगा स्नान गर्नका लागि विभिन्न ठाउमा सुबिधाहरु बनाइएका छन । स्नान कर्ता नदीमा नडुबोस भनेर ठाउठाउमा स्टिलका लणाहरु लगाइएको छ । विभिन्न ठाउमा आरती गर्ने स्थानहरु बनाएको छ । विभिन्न ठाउमा गंगा मैयाका मन्दिरहरु देखिन्छन । समग्रमा भन्दा नित्य पुजा र आरतीका हिसाबले होस वा गंगा नदीको स्वभ्छताका हिसाबले होस भारत सरकारले गंगा सभ्याताको प्रचार पवित्रता र स्वच्छताका लागि कुनै कसर बाँकी राखेको देखिदैन ।
गंगा स्नान गरि सकेर तर्पण र अन्य धार्मिक कार्यहरु गरिसकेपछि मैले हाम्रो बागमति नदी सम्झिए । गंगा जस्तै बागमति पनि धार्मिक दृष्टिकोणले पबित्र मानिन्छन । माता पावर्तीले स्नान गरेको बागमतिलाई गौरीघाट पनि भनिन्छ । बागमतिको छेउमा नै रहेको स्लेष्मास्तक बानमा गभवान शिवजी हरिणका रुपमा बिचरण र बन बिहार गरेको स्वस्थानी ब्रतकथामा उल्लेख छ । यस्तो पौराणिक मान्यताहरु बोकेको बागमति सुद्धताका लागि नेपाल सरकारले वा हामीले के योगदान गरेका छौं त ? आफैले आफैलाई प्रश्न गरेँ । बागमति नदीको धार्मिक महत्व भएर पनि बागमतिमा स्नानका लागि स्वच्छ पानी बगाउन नसक्नु लज्जास्पद विषय हो । बागमतिमा नै फोहोर हुने गरी ढलहरु मिसाउदा पनि, बागमति कोरिडोरहरु अतिक्रमण भएर सुकुम्वासीका नाममा कब्जा हुदा पनि राजनिति कर्मीहरु त्यसैमा भोटको राजनिति गर्ने हाम्रो गलत कामका कारण ठूलो धार्मिक मान्यता बोकेको बागमति प्रदुषित छ । आरध्यदेश पशुपतिनाथको नजिकै बग्ने बागमतिलाई हामी गंगा जस्तै स्वच्छ कहिले बनाउन सकौंला ? मनमा प्रश्न यठि नै रह्यो ? उठि नै रह्यो ।।।
हामी टीकापुरमा बस्छौं । हामी भाषणमा टीकापुरको भविष्यका बारेमा बोल्दा कर्णाली नदीको तटिय अवस्थितीका कारण टीकापुरको भविष्य उज्ज्वल छ भनेर भन्न कहिल्यै बर्सिदैनौै । नदीको जलको स्वच्छताका कारणले कर्णाली पनि गंगा जस्तै निर्मल छ । गंगा र कर्णालीको उद्गम स्थल कैलास नै मानिन्छ । तर दुःखका साथ भन्नु पर्दा हाम्रो कर्णाली गंगाको अहिले सम्म नित्य आरति हुदैन । कर्णाली आसपासका कुनै धार्मिक धाम र तिर्थहरु बनाइएका छैनन । हामीले सुदुरपश्चिमलाई काठ्माण्डुले हेप्यो भनिरह्यौं , आज त सुदुरपश्चिमको आफ्नै सरकार छ ।तिन तहका सरकार मध्य स्थानिय सरकारका नाममा पनि वर्षमा पुग नपुग १ अर्व खर्च हुने गर्दछ । सुिदुर पश्चिम प्रदेश सरकारले ५ वर्षको कार्यकालमा सुदुरकै विकासका लागि भनेर १ खर्व ५२ अर्व खर्च गरेको तथ्याँकबाट देखिन्छ । तर पनि कर्णाली सभ्याताको संरक्षण र विकास तथा कर्णालीको धार्मिक महत्वलाई उजागर गर्न सरकारले लगानी किन गर्न सकेन ? यो प्रश्न मनमा उठि नै रह्यो ।
हामी धार्मिक पर्यटनका ठूला कुरा गर्ने गर्दछौं । नजिकमा रहेको मित्रराष्ट्र भारतको उत्तर प्रदेशमा करिब २३ करोड जनसंख्या छ । हिन्दु धार्मिक आस्थामा कट्टर त्यो जनसंख्याको सानो अंश मात्रै कर्णालीको स्नान गर्न हामीले भित्र्याउन सक्यौं भने टीकापुरको आर्थिक अवस्था सुध्रिन्छ । तर कर्णालीमा आरतीको दियो जल्नका लागि हामीसँग रहेको स्थानिय सरकारको र स्थानिय सरकारमा रहेकाहरुको दिमागमा समेत यो चेतनाको दियो जल्नु पर्ने देखिन्छ । बिडम्बना आज सम्म त्यो जल्न सकेको छैन ।
हाम्रो कर्णाली पबित्र छ, त्यो मोक्षधाम हो तर कर्णाली सभ्याताको अनुसन्धान र यसको विकासका लागि हामीले के लगानी गयौं ? यो टीकापुरको नेतृत्वले आफैले आफैलाई प्रश्न गर्नु पर्ने दिन आएको छ । हामीले आफैलाई प्रश्न गर्न सकेनौं भने हाम्रा भावी सन्ततीहरुले अवस्य हामीलाक्षर्् प्रश्न गर्ने छन ।
