सुर्खेतका स्वास्थ्य संस्थाहरुमा औषधि अभाव हुन थालेको छ । यहाँका अधिकांश स्वास्थ्यचौकीमा पखालाका बिरामीलाई दिइने जिन चक्कीको अभाव भएको छ ।

छ महिनायता जिन चक्कीको अभाव रहेको स्वास्थ्यकर्मीहरु बताउँछन् । स्वास्थ्यचौकी आउने बिरामी जिन चक्की नहुँदा चर्को मूल्य तिरेर निजी स्वास्थ्य संस्थामा उपचार गर्न बाध्य छन् । सुर्खेतको रामघाटस्थित स्वास्थ्यचौकीका बरिष्ठ स्वास्थ्य सहायक धिरेन्द्र घर्तीले पखलाका बिरामीलाई खुवाउने जिन चक्कीको अभाव रहेको बताउनुभयो । “पाँच÷६ महिनादेखि स्वास्थ्यचौकीमा जिन चक्कीको अभाव छ,” उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “अन्य औषधिसमेत अभाव भएको छ ।”

स्वास्थ्यचौकीमा आइरन चक्की र परिवार नियोजनका साधनको समेत अभाव हुने गरेको छ । यस्तै भेरीगङ्गास्थित छिन्चु स्वास्थ्यचौकीमा समेत जिन चक्की अभाव भएको बरिष्ठ स्वास्थ्य सहायक गोकर्ण बुढाले जानकारी दिनुभयो । एक वर्षदेखि जिन चक्कीको अभाव रहेको उहाँले बताउनुभयो । जिन चक्कीको अभाव भएपछि बिरामी मर्कामा परेका छन् ।

स्वास्थ्यचौकीले उपलब्ध गराउने ४२ प्रकारका निःशुल्क औषधिमध्ये आधाजसो मात्र स्वास्थ्यचौकीमा उपलब्ध हुने गरेको उहाँले बताउनुभयो । त्यसैगरी स्वास्थ्यचौकीमा ग्याष्टिक, छाला, कानको समस्या भएका बिरामीलाई उपलब्ध गराइने औषधिसमेत अभाव भएको रहेको बुढाले बताउनुभयो । रामघाट र छिन्चुमा मात्र होइन जिल्लाका अधिकांश स्वास्थ्यचौकीमा औषधिको अभाव भएको छ । छिन्चु स्वास्थ्यचौकीका बरिष्ठ स्वास्थ्य सहायक बुढाले यहाँ अभाव हुँदा कतिपय औषधि स्वास्थ्य संस्था आफैँले खरिद गर्ने गरेका छन् ।

यस्तै भरीगङ्गा स्वास्थ्य शाखाले सङ्घबाट खरिद भएर आउने औषधि समयमा नआउँदा औषधिको अभाव भएको जनाएको छ । अति आवश्यक औषधि स्वास्थ्यचौकीमा अभाव नभएको स्वास्थ्य शाखाका जनस्वास्थ्य निरीक्षक अर्जुन चपाईले बताउनुभयो । “केन्द्रले खरिद गरेर पठाउने नौ प्रकारको औषधि अभाव भएको छ,” उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “जिन चक्कीका साथै परिवार नियोजनका साधनको समेत अभाव छ ।” जनस्वास्थ्य कार्यालयलाई औषधि अभावको विषयमा पटक पटक जानकारी गराइएको उहाँले बताउनुभयो ।

यसैबीच केही दिनअघि सुन्दर नेपाल संस्थाको पारस्परिक जवाफदेहिता परियोजनाअन्तर्गत गठन गरिएको निगरानी समूहले स्वास्थ्यचौकीको अनुगमन गरेको थियो । अनुगमनका क्रममा स्वास्थ्यचौकीहरुमा अत्यावश्यक औषधिको अभाव रहेको पाइएको परियोजनाका कार्यक्रम संयोजक याम थापाले जानकारी दिनुभयो ।
